Please click on the link below to enjoy some shots of our successful 26th Scenic Mountain Triathlon on July 10, 2011. About 100 volunteers stepped up to make this event happen. There were 134 entrants this year. This is just one of the events sponsored by the Chamber each year.

What does a Chamber do?

The Chamber of Commerce enables people to accomplish collectively what no person can do individually. The strength of the organization lies in attracting the greatest number of individuals and firms into membership creating a pool of resources from which can be drawn ideas, energy and finances. It also unites and encourages good will and cooperation in the community.

The Chamber's primary responsibility is the community's economic well being. Its purpose is to increase the wealth, prosperity and growth of existing business and foster new ones; also to establish new and improved educational opportunities and the development of an appreciation for the Arts and Humanities.

Why join the Chamber of Commerce. .

Please join us an an effort to improve our business community in our area. An investment in the chamber is an investment in the business community of Richwood.

We have moved our offices into The Depot and share quarters with the Richwood CVB. Together these entities will continue to promote Richwood as a good place to visit, live, and do business.

Our new web site will provide information for people looking to relocate here. We hope to attract entrepreneurs, active seniors and those interested in seeing Richwood thrive. We will also do more promoting of Richwood bsinesses and products made in Richwood.

Of course the Chamber will continue to sponsor events like The Scenic Mountain Triathlon and the Feast of the Ramson. We are open to all new ideas that can help us help you.
