The 39th annual Mountain Color Art Show
Opening Reception on Sunday, October 5th from 2pm - 4pm
The show runs from Monday, October 6th through Saturday, October 11th in the upstairs auditorium at Richwood City Hall.
Exhibit Hours:
Monday, October 6th - Friday, October 10th open 5pm - 8pm
Final day is Saturday October 11th open 10am - 4pm
Admission to view the show is FREE
Post Event Art Pick-Up:
Saturday, October 11th, after 4pm
(art cannot be picked up prior to above date/time. Mountain Color Art Show will not be responsible for art not picked up)
The exhibition is non-juried and includes work from award winning artists from Nicholas and surrounding counties, as well as from across the state.
In addition to these wide noted artists, there will be many local artists who will showcase their quality work. As you view the artwork submitted by long running artists, you will feel the sense of pride the people of the area have in their Appalachian heritage – whether they are native or have adopted this area as their home.
ART ENTRY INFORMATION
The Art Show also accepts entries from any adult, middle school or high school student working in any medium. Each artist may enter up to 5 works.
* Fiber category limited to 1 quilt per artist
Non-Refundable Entry Fee of $20 for Adults. There is no charge for middle and high school, however, students under 18 can have their work judged with the adult art, in which case the entry fee will apply.
Make checks payable to Mt. Color Art Show and mail to Carl O’Dell 58 Oakford Avenue, Richwood, WV 26261 or pay when delivering your artwork.
Submitting artwork:
Art must be received Saturday at Richwood City Hall Auditorium between 9am - 1pm on September 27th, 2025.
If shipping is necessary, entries may be shipped to Carl O’Dell, 58 Oakford Avenue, Richwood, WV 26261 and MUST include return shipping postage. Shipped work must arrive by September 27th to be considered.
ALL WORKS MUST BE READY TO HANG OR DISPLAY

Ribbons will be awarded for all categories
